MAHARANI ZOO & PARK WILDLIFE GOA Lamongan is the first time in Indonesia, which presents a collection of animals Carnivore, Herbivore, Primate, and Aves with African Style. Maharani Cave, is located in Tanjung Kodok sea tourism area, Paciran district Lamongan regency, about 200 m from Tanjung Kodok gateway fringe the roadway to east. About 50 m in the south of the street, there is stone that its soil is tire to form the bank that has downwards. Here, some labourers had mine the coral soil, phosphate material and dolomite fertilizer that had sold out of Paciran region. On this area, is a countryside road, which is the footpath, and every day passed by non irrigated dry field farmers, the stone mineworker workers, also once in a while is crowded passed the boy scouts who performing a camp around the area.

MARINE TOURISM

Lamongan Marine Tourism (WBL) is available with its unique, the result of combination between natural aspects, cultures, and architecture, which is global, taste but still maintain local trademark.

WBL is a balancing towards some tourism places that have exist before like Tanjung Kodok and Maharani cave. It is located in north coast of Java, in Paciran, Lamongan regency, East Java. It is on 17 hectares field and supported by some facilities, which are ready to please the guest with one stop service concept.

GONDANG DAM

Gondang Dam is located at Sugio district, 19 km south west of Lamongan. It was built in 1983-1987. The main use of the dam is for irrigation, but now on, many tourists come there for having relax and fishing; camping ground, water bicycle and mini zoo are available.

The manager of the dam has commit to implement the programs of Sapta Pesona (Seven Charms) to make the tourist always enjoy this tourism object.
There are place for the children who want to play, such as water bicycle, and mini zoo that dwelt the several animals such as dear, monkey, eagle, peacock and other animals. So those, the visitor can also bring their children to enjoy this place. By the motto of Sapta Pesona, Gondang reservoir always creating safety, orderly, clean, cold, beautiful, audience and give the good memory for the visitor.

VAN DER WIJK MONUMENT

On October 20 1936 Dutch ship of an Der Wijk (a luxury ship belong to one of Dutch ship company) had an accident at north of Java. The ship had journey from Surabaya to Semarang. Around Brondong beach, the ship was tenggelam. Then some fishermen help some ship's passengers. But other passengers had died in the sea. By the help of Brondong people who saved the victims from that accident, the government of the Dutch built the commemoration monument that was called "Van Der Wijk" monument.

SUNAN DRAJAT GRAVE

Sunan Drajat is one of the charismatic of an Islam spreaders in Java who is called Wali Songo. He was very intelligent man and people called him Raden Qosim. His father, Sunan Ampel sent him to Aceh and Mocca to study Islam. After finishing his study, he taught Islam at the north coast of Java especially at Paciran, Lamongan.

As a religious teacher, Sunan Drajat was known as the social Moslem who paid much attention to the poor. He developed the social welfare first then he taught his doctrines. To respect his great struggle, the local government of Lamongan Regency built a museum in the complex of the cemetery and it was officially opened by the governor of East Java on March, 31 1992.

This grave is located at Paciran village, Lamongan district. Generally, the pilgrims of this grave are domestic tourist. Besides, tourists from Asian countries also often visit it. The facilities that the tourists can get in this graveyard are; parking area, mosque, restaurants, rest place and bathroom. Those facilities are prepared for the tourists, in order to get their pleasure to come to this place.

BRONDONG FISH AUCTION

It is a great blessing that Lamongan regency has sea-richness with its 47 km beach, covering 17 coastal villages villages, from Lohgung villagein Brondong district to Weru Lor village in Paciran district. This natural condition provides an alternative choice for the coastal society to work in fishery sector. There are 23,186 fishermen, 435 fish cultivators, 49 hatchery enterpreneurs, one could-storage unit and 7 units of ice factory (supplying fishermen's need).

The available boats are more than 15,000 units and all of them are machine-generated. Meanwhile, the catching appratus are 271 purse seins, 586 large nets, 795 gill nets, 595 tromel nets and 233 other tools. The well-known catching results are Layang fish, Kuningan fish, Tongkol, Tengiri, Kakap Merah, Rajungan, Dorang and Cumi-Cumi. The marketing covers East Java and Yogyakarta. Even, through cold storage company in Paciran, the products are exported to the markets of China, Taiwan, Japan, Europe and United States of America.

To supports its marketing, the government keep developing the facilities of TPI (centre of fish auction) in Weru, Kranji, Lohgung, Labuhan and Brondong.

BABAT BARRAGE TOURISM

Babat Barrage is a giant barrage with 25-30 million meters3, built above Bengawan Solo river as flood control. The barrage that built with million dollars has also functioned as water supplier of Rawa Jabung area and Sudetan Bengawan Solo (also called as flood way). Babat Barrage in Babat district, Lamongan regency is part of Project Of Lower Solo River Improvement Phase I.

Beside as barrage, this barrage also functioned as tourism object. In Ramadhan month (a month before Ied Day – feast month), this area has many visitors. In Sunday, many people have jogging here. And when it starts to dark, many youngster came here to enjoy sunset or just walk around.

SENDANG DUWUR

The impressive gateway of Sendang Duwur can be found on a hilltop not far from the coast at Paciran north of Lamongan or east of Tuban. The place name is taken from a Moslem Saint, Sunan Sendang, who was buried there in 1585. Sunan Sendang Duwur is one of the Islam spreaders in Java. His charismatic is the same as Wali Songo.

The stylistically decoration of the gateway is describe about the transition from ancient Hindu / Javanese to Moslem principles. The symbols of Hindu Majapahit lie alongside Arabic Calligraphy. The outer gateway to the graveyard has Bentar style and inside of the gateway has Paduraksa style. The beautiful woodcarving surrounds the main tomb. In the right and the left side of the wall is decorated with two giant heads from the black stone material. The pilgrims from all part of the region, often visit to this beautiful graveyard.
